More photos from the concert

Connor & Mikey
Snowbird tram
What's David doing in the bushes?
This is how our canyon's get polluted. :) The funny thing about this shot is that Dave would NEVER actually do this. When Mikey ask him to do this pose, Dave said "I'm not really going to throw it".

Snowbird Summer Concert

Carson
The Biscuit Burners - they're the bluegrass band that played at Snowbird this weekend. And this is what our friend Dewey would look like in a bluegrass band (the guy on the right looks just like him). I don't know if Dewey plays the guitar, but it's not to much of a stretch to think of him in a bluegrass band... or maybe an Irish folk band.
We also saw a man that looked like our friend Kris. He was sitting right behind us, so I didn't get any pics.

Just chillin

Connor's found a new use for the baby swing chair... it's his own personal recliner. He puts his feet above the tray and just kicks back. It's a perfect fit and a great place to watch a little Elmo. I guess it's better than it's previous use as a step ladder. He's such a climber he uses any thing he can to get higher.

Portrait of Mikey - I thought this was a cool pic. If you look close you can see Cody's jeep behind us.

Happy Birthday Grandma T

Cousins - Casey, Connor, and Brayden

Big hugs for Grandma J

Sunday we celebrated my Grandma T's B-day with a BBQ at her house. She has a BBQ each year and it's so nice to see everyone. The best part of the day was seeing my brother and his boys. We don't see them nearly as much as I'd like to, so it's always nice to get together and spend time with your family.

Camping - Uintah's

That there's an RV Clark......

Mikey and Connor on top of the world

Carson on top of Bald Mountain throwing a snowball at Mikey. Can you see the snowball?

We had such a nice time just hanging out, eating and riding the 4 wheelers. The Uintah's are beautiful. It's so cool to live in Utah where all of this amazing country is in our back yard! We can't wait to go again.

Fun with BFF's

The great escape
Fine men with hats

Bear box

The best part of having a regular (non digital) camera is "surprise photos". It's like Christmas, you just can't wait to see what's been developed. Mike and I have had film developed with pictures that we had taken years (yes years) earlier. Here's some film we just had developed with some photo's from our trip in May to Lake Tahoe with Dave and Jamie. We went to the Renaissance festival in Lake Tahoe and an old mining town, Virginia City. We had a good laugh when we opened this film package.

First steps

Well, Connor's officially graduated from baby to toddler. He's taking his first few steps this weekend (4 or more in a row) and we're all in trouble now. I had a hard time keeping up with him crawling. I'm hoping all lose a few pounds chasing him around. That kid goes 100 miles an hour!

Connor's giving Mike the "squishy face" look.

Connor loves to climb. He climbs everything and when he gets to the top, he looks for something higher to climb. Mikey's looking forward to having a rock climbing buddy soon.

Beating the heat

For the last few weekends, we have been beating the heat by escaping to the canyon. Two weeks ago we went to Snowbird to catch a band playing at their summer concert series. Snowbird is a great venue for a concert and the best part is it's free! We had a great day. We rode the tram, had a bite to eat and enjoyed the music. Connor got to take his maiden voyage in Dad's pack. Here's a few pics from that day.

You may notice that midway through the day, I changed shirts. Well, I'm a new mom and still learning, but I learned that a one year old, dirt and a white shirt don't mix. I had to buy a new shirt because Connor's dirty feet ruined my nice crisp white one!

Everybody's doing it...

Well it seems that everyone has a blog now days, so I thought...... well, I thought I'd give it a try. I've been reading the Warner's blog (and crying my eyes out most days) and they have inspired me to start one of my own. It's so nice to take a few moments out of the day and check to see what's new with your friends.I'm going to start small. I've decided for my first entry to just post my current favorite pic of our son Connor. I love this picture. My brother took it a couple months ago, and it just captures his personality
